Clear the Rooms

Start by removing as many items as possible from the room. Large furniture pieces can be placed in the center if moving them out isn’t possible, but smaller items like chairs, tables, lamps, and decorations should be taken away. The fewer obstacles, the more efficiently the painter can work.

Protect Furniture and Floors

Airless spraying is done under high pressure, which means paint mist can spread easily. Protect your furniture, flooring, and any remaining objects with plastic sheeting or floor protection. Make sure to tape the edges tightly to avoid any leaks or paint damage.

Remove or Cover Fixtures

If possible, remove light fixtures, switches, and outlet covers. This allows the painter to achieve a cleaner, more professional result. Anything that cannot be removed should be carefully covered with painter’s tape.

Clean the Walls

For the best outcome, walls need to be free of dust, grease, and dirt. Wipe them down with a damp cloth or mild cleaner before the painter arrives. Small holes or cracks should be filled in advance so the spraying process can start right away.

Ensure Proper Ventilation

Good airflow is important during and after airless spraying. Open windows or doors to help with drying and to keep the air fresh.
